Love Quote of the Day by Woody Allen

“To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering, one must not love. But then, one suffers from not loving. Therefore, to love is to suffer; not to love is to suffer; to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love. To be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy. Therefore, to be happy, one must love or love to suffer or suffer from too much happiness.” Woody Allen quotes

Why I Picked up a Camera.

Quotes from the Renaissance:

I picked up a camera because it was my choice of weapons against what I hated most about the universe: racism, intolerance, poverty. I could have just as easily picked up a knife or a gun, like many of my childhood friends did... most of whom were murdered or put in prison... but I chose not to go that way. I felt that I could somehow subdue these evils by doing something beautiful that people recognize me by, and thus make a whole different life for myself.

-- Gordon Parks

You Decide

So we shall let the reader answer this question for himself: Who is a happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and lived, or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely existed.--- Hunter S. Thompson age 17
